Bill Gates Tops Forbes 400 List

Bill Gates retains the most notable spot on The Forbes 400, this is the 21st straight list. After 12 months Gates income reached $81 billion, up $9 billion from 2013. Microsoft chairman’s stake inside the software company he cofounded is the reason he is on top of the list. He still owns just under 20% of  Microsoft which boost his total net worthy of. Bill Gates has been leading this list for the longest time. It is also important to point out that Bill Gates already gave away vast amounts to the Bill and Melissa Gates Foundation and yet otherwise would be worth more than $100 Billion. The Bill and Melissa Gates Foundation has become more well know recently with its funding of the Common Core curriculum.

Warren Buffet (#2) is at $67 billion, up $8. 5 billion from not too long ago. Larry Ellison (#3), worthy of $50 billion, is up $9 billion from not too long ago. Steve Ballmer (#18), worthy of $22. 5 billion, climbed back to the top 20 after dropping out not too long ago. Ballmer was the long-time CEO of Microsoft until just recently. He also recently purchased the Los Angeles Clippers basketball team from Donald Sterling.

Bill Gates stepped down as CEO of Microsoft in 2000. He remained as chairman and created the position of chief software builder. In June, 2006, Gates announced that he would be transitioning from full-time at Microsoft to part-time work and full-time at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Bill Gates said charitable giving is important in America. Gates, one of the richest men in the US, revealed in an interview that his family visits a Catholic church knowing that morality taught inspires a great deal of his work with charity. One example is the university program. He said universities produce professionals who then allow financial support to educational institutions. He also said that, in the USA, privately funded organizations produce inventions that government can't. He also provided his personal feelings on God and the large issues facing the planet today in that interview.

William Henry Gates III was born in Seattle, Washington with October 28th, 1955. Bill Gates grew out of a category of entrepreneurship and high spirited mentality. His dad, William H. Gates II, is a Seattle legal professional. His late mother, Mary Gates, was a schoolteacher, University of Washington regent, and also chairwoman of United Way International.
