Re: Dollar Tree (DLTR) Continues to Peak

Hi,
Thanks for updating the DLTR reports and the trade position at the market, the quarterly growth analysis would appreciate strengthening trades at the market in the coming sessions as well.

Re: Dollar Tree (DLTR) Continues to Peak

Wow, I knew that Dollar Tree and other dollar store chains were doing well in this economic climate but I didn't realize quite how much they're earning. I guess that's another investment opportunity on which I'm a bit too late.

Interesting post I would assume you are predominately a fundamental trader? Do you think DLTR can push much higher?

From a technical standpoint the stock is in a bit of a range after the large spike up to 56. I think if the price can get above 56.84, then the range is broken again.

Every growth has its end. This Dollar Tree Inc. (DLTR) shows great results right now but who knows, maybe today it's high time to sell.

Re: Dollar Tree (DLTR) Continues to Peak

I honestly believe that DLTR will continue this trend as more people will head over to dollar stores to find bargains. It's one of those stocks that I will hold on to but I will likely unload when the price hits $60.

The recent activist company expectations for opponent Big Lots (BIG) have also helped the variety money off sector as a whole.

Re: Dollar Tree (DLTR) Continues to Peak

DLTR is one of a few retailers who have not only survived the recession but have actually experienced growth. The bad economy has allowed stores selling cheap items to thrive and it is projected that DLTR will continue this trend and capitalize on the increase of budge-conscious consumers.

Re: Dollar Tree (DLTR) Continues to Peak

Discount retail stores will thrive in a challenging economic environment as people will try to stretch every single dollar they have. It's no surprise that we are seeing DLTR capitalizing on their 3,806 retail stores across the country. This trend will only continue until the general business climate improves and if more people join the ranks of the working class.
