Members of the Bank of Scotland can use the Bank of Scotland Android App for almost anything. This banking app allows users to accomplish a wide range of tasks, including finding the nearest bank branch or ATM in the United Kingdom (non-members can use this feature, too), and log in on your mobile device while you are on the go. Having logged in, users can view their balances and transactions, make and schedule payments, manage any overdrafts and pay attendant fees, and get in touch with Bank of Scotland representatives with questions about internet banking or their account in general.

All of this can be done with a high level of security, which will set the minds of users at ease, and particularly those who must do their banking away from home because of their busy schedule. 

These features do not mean that the app does not have critics, who say it circumvents the real issue presented to Bank of Scotland members: while it is true that the app gives them access to the Bank website, some believe that the website itself is not well-designed.
